Welcome - Bienvenue - Bienvenidos!

Thank you for your interest in the International School of Charlottesville. At the ISC, we believe that all children can benefit from the early introduction of language, diverse cultures, and new, hands-on experiences as they learn and explore the world around them.  With this in mind, we encourage you to learn more about our programs and invite you to visit our school.

The best way to learn about the ISC is to observe classes "in action," and we welcome parents to visit virtually during a normal school day.  These visits, by appointment, and attendance at our annual Saturday Open House, will help you decide if the language immersion environment is right for your child, and allows you to ask questions about our programs. If visiting is not possible, please contact us by email or phone - we would love to hear from you, and we are happy to answer questions about our programs.

The ISC has a wide variety of programs ranging from part- and full-time preschool classes, flexible afternoon programming, lessons, clubs, and activities, and fun summer camps.  With the exception of a few "alumni" afternoon clubs and Kindergarten, the ability to speak French or Spanish is not required for any programs at the ISC.

The ISC is a place where children and families come together to learn and grow, and we look forward to welcoming you to our school!
